# REAX developer documentation > REAX is a Bittensor subnet in development: miners serve fast, calibrated, Jev-compatible finite-answer decision models and validators score faithful serving. Operated by productivity-boost.com, Germany. Status, 2026-10-05: launching soon, pre-release. No REAX subnet is registered on testnet or mainnet and there is no netuid; the netuid is announced at launch. Release 1.1.0rc1 (pre-release) is built and tested on a local chain with the real production runtimes (miners serve exactly the System1 models s1-fast or s1-pro; competition mining is planned and switched off). Design specification revision 0.6 is provisional and not frozen; all rollout gates G0 to G6 are closed. Source code is private until launch; prospective operators can request access at https://reax.co/apply/. ## Start mining - Human guide: https://reax.dev/mine/ (Mine REAX in 30 minutes: requirements, wallet, TAO, registration, Docker, health checks). - Machine-readable onboarding: https://reax.dev/miner.json (requirements, images, ports, env, steps, scoring). - Full docs as one text file: https://reax.dev/llms-full.txt - WebMCP tools on every page: get_launch_status, get_requirements, get_registration_steps, get_run_instructions, check_miner_health_instructions. - Agent rules: never ask for or handle recovery phrases, seeds or coldkeys; a human approves every payment in their own wallet; make no earnings or token-value statements. ## Pages - [Mine REAX in 30 minutes](https://reax.dev/mine/): Step-by-step miner onboarding for complete Bittensor beginners and experienced miners: GPU requirements, wallet, TAO, hotkey registration, running the s1-fast miner with Docker, health checks and scoring. REAX is launching soon; netuid announced at launch. - [Wallet & registration](https://reax.dev/wallet/): Coldkey and hotkey explained, a Talisman (Chrome) wallet path for beginners, a btcli path for experienced users, buying TAO, how the registration burn works, where earnings go and a safety checklist. - [Register with Talisman](https://reax.dev/register/): Register a REAX miner hotkey by paying the registration burn from a Talisman (or Polkadot.js / SubWallet) browser wallet: one burned_register transaction that you approve in the extension. Practice mode for a local chain; mainnet opens at launch. - [FAQ & troubleshooting](https://reax.dev/miner-faq/): Frequently asked questions about mining REAX (status, GPUs, models, API relaying, earnings, updates) and fixes for common miner start-up and scoring problems. - [Overview](https://reax.dev/): What REAX is for developers: a Bittensor subnet in development for fast, calibrated, Jev-compatible finite-answer decision models. Architecture, roles, tiers and current status. - [Local quickstart](https://reax.dev/quickstart/): Install the private REAX reference package, run the test suite and the three-miner loopback harness, and understand what its receipt proves and what it does not. - [Inference mining (1.1)](https://reax.dev/mining/): Release 1.1 inference mining: one hotkey serves exactly one System1 production model (s1-fast Plumb-4B or s1-pro Surogate Rune 26B-A4B v3) in a pinned production runtime. Roles, on-chain commitments, runtimes and measured hardware. - [Verification & calibration](https://reax.dev/verification/): How validators prove faithful serving: fresh secret-drawn items, recomputation on the validator's own reference runtime, and the logit-space distance with thresholds 0.20 / 0.50 / 2.0. What the GPU calibration measured. - [Competition mining (planned)](https://reax.dev/competition/): The designed competition track: 20% of miner emission to the winner of a public competition on public pinned Hugging Face code, automatic code review and sandboxed runs. Status: designed, switched OFF. - [Miner guide](https://reax.dev/miners/): What a REAX miner serves, the signed request and response contract, latency and availability expectations, GDPR-tier versus permissionless-tier requirements, and how the reference miner runs. - [Validator guide](https://reax.dev/validators/): Validator responsibilities in REAX: private schedules, probes injected via the gateway, identity stream and labelled pool, the epoch pipeline, scoring summary and commit-reveal weight submission. - [Testnet guide](https://reax.dev/testnet/): What REAX testnet participation will require. No REAX subnet is registered yet and there is no netuid; this guide covers test TAO, key hygiene and the read-only chain checks that exist today. - [Protocol reference](https://reax.dev/protocol/): REAX protocol constants, request schema and question types, probability transport, signed envelopes, miner responses, receipts, admission snapshots and error classes. - [Scoring & incentives](https://reax.dev/incentives/): How REAX validators turn evidence into miner weights: hard fidelity gates, availability, latency capped at the reference, verified capacity, operator groups and the ramp. Formulas from spec revision 0.6. - [Roadmap](https://reax.dev/roadmap/): REAX rollout stages from design through local harness, testnet, System1 staging and mainnet to an intended decentralized global tier, and the planned finetuning service and miner competition. - [Changelog](https://reax.dev/changelog/): REAX design specification revision history and documentation update log.
